New Surfboard Bag Handle Design

by Derek Dodds July 03, 2012

New Design Improves Handle Construction & Durability

We get excited about change here at Wave Tribe and one of the design changes that we made to the new generation Wave Tribe hemp bags involved upgrading the handles and handle stitching.

We wanted to make sure that the new hemp bags would withstand the roughness of travel so we had the manufacturer add extra heavy red heavy grade stitching at the handle connections.

We also added a rear handle to the surfboard bags, making it easier to pull the boardbags in-and-out of vehicles and off the top of cars.

Additionally we added one heavy duty handle to the design, allowing for better ‘grip-ability’ while drudging your gear through the airport or swinging your Wave Tribe boardbags onto the boat in Indo.

At Wave Tribe we are constantly looking for ways to improve what we do and how we do it, and we look forward to bringing you the best products possible.

The piece of gear no sane California surfer goes without—the wetsuit.

Pioneer bags also have an exterior pocket and zip all the way to the nose.

Global Travel Bag Sizes:

Travel boardbags are 6'-8' inches deep to accommodate two boards—though you can travel with one in these bags without a problem—there are two interior pockets for leash, wax, and fins.
