The Women and the Waves" is an independent documentary surf film that explores the lives of female surfers who, through the decades, have chosen to paddle head first into the male dominated sport of surfing and found a place of their own.
Here are some basic facts about the wind and waves:
Harder the wind blows;
Over a longer period of time;
Over a greeters distance on ocean (fetch);
The more wind energy will be transferred into the ocean, resulting in larger waves and longer swell periods.

The water was so flat I wish I had an SUP to paddle for hours, and the whales were down at the beach for a visit. A friend and I decided to grab some longboards and try to get as close as we can to get some good pictures of our big friends.
